We are walking and running in honor and memory of Tom del Pino, FDNY firefighter and 9/11 survivor, who lost his battle with 9/11-related cancer last September.
Tom was a loyal and dedicated supporter and volunteer of the Tunnel to Towers mission, traveling across the country with the Never Forget Mobile Exhibit. His mission was simple but incredibly important: to ensure that people truly never forgot, and to educate that 9/11 did not end that day. People are still getting sick, and lives continue to be impacted.
Tom's memory will forever be a blessing. Those who knew him, loved him, and his life is now a very important part of continuing the mission to honor and remember those we lost on 9/11, and those we continue to lose because of 9/11.
By participating in this walk/run and supporting our team, you are helping us continue Tom's legacy and the mission he cared so deeply about. Every donation helps us honor his memory and to ensure that his message and the stories of others are never forgotten.
Please help us reach our goal and honor a man who dedicated so much of his life to caring for others.
For Tom, for those we lost that day, and for those still fighting. Never forget.
"No day shall erase you from the memory of time."
